Where do people call a tea/coffee break a "water break"?

Where do people call a tea/coffee break a "water break"?

I saw this in the correspondences among some international colleagues. It struck me as interesting and off sounding, as I have never heard it used this way--not referring to water breaking during pregnancy but to a coffee break. Most online dictionaries do not seem to have this usage included, but I did find it mentioned on Wiktionary, albeit sans citations and sources. I wonder in what English varieties, in what English speaking regions, is this usage common.

Top Answer/Comment:

Comment: "X break" is a general pattern, and you can substitute almost any activity for X. E.g. a smoke break is common when employees step out for a few minutes to smoke a cigarette.
