No audio on Pulseaudio/pipewire on Xubuntu 26.04

No audio on Pulseaudio/pipewire on Xubuntu 26.04

When I start up Xubuntu, my audio profile is automatically switched to digital output because it believes analog stereo is "unavailable" and the front headphones are unplugged (they aren't) and even when I manually set these settings, I get no sound, despite PulseAudio control panel showing activity in the volume indicator. There are no other audio output sources active.

What do I do?

Comment: Filters: loopback-... is weird to have. The volume indicator is software attempting output, not whether the hardware receives it. The headphones showing "unplugged" might mean the physical hardware switch thinks it's unplugged. Is Starship/Matisse HD Audio the right sink? See whether you can change the "PCM2900C Audio CODEC"'s profile. Or whatever the "loopback... from" is, change the dropdown
